Ingenuity, originality and intelligence together
The second edition of the Engineering Competition is an event that is celebrated nationwide in which students of Engineering and Physics and Mathematics degrees from four different institutions: Universidad Polytechnic de Madrid, Universidad de Valladolid, Universidad Polytechnic de Catalunya Universidad Carlos III de Madrid
The contest is divided into three different categories in which the students demonstrate their skills, social and communication to solve several tasks at one time. There are three modes: Case Study of Technology and Business and Design Team.
The competition consists of a series of local rounds of each mode in each of the four participating universities. The winning teams from each institution will participate in a national final to be held on April 22 at the University of Valladolid. The aim of the competition is to support young talented Spanish and why we propose a real-life situations where each must make the best of himself and at the same time, integrated into a computer.
The contest is organized by GMV and BESTspain. GMV is a technology group with international presence that tries to find solutions through the development of products and services areas related to aeronautics, defense, space, health, safety, transportation, telecommunications and New Information Technologies. The Director of Human Resources GMV, Ignacio Ramos Gorostiola cree that this competition is an event where the intention is that "students have experience in all areas of engineering such as technology, business and design."
