At the end of this course you will be able to: identify the procedures and materials you should use to clean a mouse, monitor case, keyboard, touch pad, drive heads, power supplies and fans; correctly describe the equipment required to protect your PC systems from a power surge, sag or blackout; identify the correct procedures for storage of PC components; identifythe procedures for working with high-voltage equipment and devices that contain lasers; identify at least two types of hazardous materials you may encounter when working with PCs, printers or cleaning agents; describe the function of an MSDS; take any piece of anti-static equipment, identify its use and correctly implement it in the workplace. This set of modules will prepare the reader for the exam 220-301.
